It goes like this: a promoter invites a celebrity to party at the club. The celebrity comes, is gifted a couple bottles and the deejay announces him. But what if after the deejay shouts him out and two hours past by, he doesn’t play not one of the celebrity’s songs?
Well, what you get is a pissed off Wale. Because that’s exactly what happened last night in Shadow Room (2131 K Street NW).
Wale told the deejay: “I been in the club for an hour, two hours and I ain’t hear none of my songs. I’m starting to get tired of that sh*t man. …Goddamn! I’m on my fifth motherf*cking album, n***a.”
For the record, DC Fab! sources say the deejay actually did play two of Wale’s songs but it was before the rapper arrived.
